🎉 Triple Hallmark Success for The Village Hall! 🎉

We are absolutely delighted to share that the hall has been awarded Hallmark One, Two, and Three for the second consecutive time. We first earned these prestigious recognitions three years ago, and this renewed award is a wonderful recognition of excellence in governance, community engagement, and operational standards.

These awards, administered by Thrive (the Community Council for Somerset), reflect the hard work of our trustees, volunteers, and everyone who uses and supports the hall. From safeguarding and financial management to inclusivity and forward planning, each Hallmark level celebrates a different aspect of what makes a village hall flourish — and we are proud to say that we are one of just five halls in the whole district to be awarded all three.

This is more than certificates on the wall for us. It is a reflection of the heart and soul of our community — the coffee mornings, the classes, the parties, the fundraisers, wedding celebrations, honouring those lost, bringing together all ages and walks of life, enjoying the quiet moments and the lively ones.
